Went out last night with a friend to see the American Contemporary Ballet's Nutcracker Suite. The performance takes place on the 28th floor of a Downtown LA office building, which was tranformed into a snowy wonderland. The small space meant we were very close to the dancers and we could see the LA skyline behind them through frosted office windows. In breaks between pieces costumed dancers distributed ice cream, lollipops and cookies to the audience-- keeping the children engaged. I'm still pic
