#Clogging is a type of #American folk dance with percussive foot-tapping. It has its roots in the dance of the #Irish, #Scottish, #English and #Dutch-#German settlers and it was the social dance in the #Appalachian Mountains as early as the 18th century. Accompanied by rousing fiddle and bluegrass music, clogging was a means of personal expression in a land of newfound freedoms. We wanted to celebrate some special people on National Clogging Day and International Day of Clog Dancing! Our Royal Court is made up of cloggers from different states and clogging teams, and they all have their own unique clogging journeys. Yet, they all come together and represent the art form of clogging and America’s Clogging Hall of Fame. We are all so proud of each one of these cloggers, and we cannot wait to see what their future holds! We are quickly approaching our registration deadline
