Purnon’s dry moat flanks three sides of the Château. The frail condition of the stone walls has been a concern to us ever since arriving at Purnon nearly 6 years ago. Last year, following the conclusion of the restoration of the roof and facades of the eastern pavilion of the Château the eastern moat walls were restored.
