The Concorde remains one of the most iconic aircraft ever built — a sleek, needle-nosed jet that could cruise at over twice the speed of sound. Flying at Mach 2.04 (about 1,350 mph) and altitudes around 60,000 feet, it could cross the Atlantic in just over 3 hours — half the time of a regular airliner.
