The IOD stamped impressed technique is one of my go to ways to add luscious texture to the surface of my projects. HERE’S HOW: 1. Use a nice thick coat of chalk type paint. 2. Work the surface with the IOD paint blade. As you work it back and forth it gets thicker and firmer. 3. Lay the stamp into the surface gently and use firm even pressure. ( certain stamps work better than other for this, so experiment) 4. Allow to dry thoroughly 5. Work a wax that is in color contrast with your paint color
