It’s National Play in Hospital Week, and I’m celebrating with children’s charity Starlight Children's Foundation by raising awareness of how important it is for children to still have fun and play while in hospital. Starlight’s research shows that taking part in play in hospital, or while you wait for doctor appointments, helps to reduce anxiety and keep us calm, which in turn can make treatment easier and quicker.
