Penguins acquire talented goaltender Arturs Silovs from Canucks for Chase Stillman, draft pick
Rutherford’s Vancouver Canucks, themselves dealing with a surplus of goaltending at the NHL and minor-league levels, dealt goaltender Arturs Silovs to the Penguins on Sunday afternoon. In return, the Penguins are sending a 2027 fourth-round NHL Draft pick and prospect Chase Stillman to the Canucks.
The Canucks are motivated to try to sign one of the remaining available free agents but need to clear cap space to do so.
