Rex White, the 1960 NASCAR Cup Series champion and one of the sport's most accomplished drivers of the late 1950s and early 1960s, has died at the age of 95. White had been NASCAR's oldest living champion.

Rex White, who was NASCAR’s oldest living champion, has died at 95. White won the 1960 Cup Series title and 28 races during his nine-season career and earned a reputation for consistency and dominance on short tracks.

NASCAR returns to Dover Motor Speedway for the lone race weekend at the 1-mile track this season, headlined by the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on July 20.
