Lottery officials said that two lottery players from Illinois are now millionaires after winning Wednesday's Powerball jackpot.

After a Maryland woman scanned her lottery tickets, she couldn’t sleep — but for a good reason. The human resources specialist was on her lunch break July 7 and stopped by a Baltimore convenience store, where she bought some lottery tickets per the suggestion of a friend, Maryland Lottery officials said in a July 11 news release.
