Columbus earned an overtime win Tuesday vs. Anaheim and takes on the Ducks again tonight in Southern California

Werenski scored the game’s first goal Tuesday, a wrister off the rush from the left circle at 8:21 of the first. When the Ducks tied it 1-1 at 3:35 of the second, Werenski scored on the ensuing shift just 24 seconds later to put the Jackets ahead 2-1.

The Columbus Blue Jackets did not take advantage of a big scoring night for defenseman Zach Werenski, falling 5-2 to the Minnesota Wild on Dec. 18.

Ryan Poehling, Beckett Sennecke, and Mikael Granlund scored for the Ducks, who have dropped four of their past five games (1-3-1). Lukas Dostal allowed four goals on seven shots before being replaced by Petr Mrazek, who made 14 saves.
