Sami Zayn's boyhood dream became a living nightmare Monday on Raw when his Undisputed WWE Championship reign ended after just nine days, courtesy of the returning CM Punk.

WWE reportedly had far different plans on the table for CM Punk before he defeated Sami Zayn on this week's edition of Raw.

The title match came together after Cody Rhodes, who was originally set to challenge Zayn, was ruled out following a backstage attack by Gunther earlier in the night.
