The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for thunderstorms affecting parts of southern and eastern England, including London.

In a key new update issued today, the Met Office has changed the time for the warning. It now comes into effect at midnight tonight and lasts until 9pm on Saturday. Considering the penultimate Oasis homecoming show gets underway at Heaton Park from 6pm tomorrow, fans of the band are being told to expect some wet weather.
