The man shot a trooper before carjacking a vehicle and driving to the church. He then shot several people and killed two women. Responding officers killed him.

Two people have been fatally shot at a church in Kentucky after a car chase that began with a gunman shooting and injuring a police officer, officials said.

The victims who were killed were identified as Christina Combs, 34, and Beverly Gumm, 72.
