SAN ANTONIO — A second week of search and recovery efforts for flood victims in Kerr County is expected to begin Monday following a brief pause Sunday due to an emergency weather alert from Kerr County officials.

At a Wednesday morning press conference, Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha declined to answer a question about delayed emergency alerts, saying that an "after-action" would follow the search and rescue efforts. "Those questions are gonna be answered," he added.

Colorado has sent Task Force 1 to Kerr County, Texas, to assist in searches and cleanup efforts along the Guadalupe River.
