Judge, of course, is more than "just" the most dangerous slugger of his era. He's also a deceptively athletic ballplayer who this season has graded out as a pronounced defensive asset in right field. He certainly reminded us of that on Friday.

Aaron Judge made three outstanding catches in right field, robbing Pete Crow-Armstrong of a home run, Dansby Swanson of a single and Kyle Tucker of a two-run hit in the New York Yankees’ 11-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs.

With chants of “MVP” from the Stadium crowd still echoing, Judge made almost as good a catch on the next play, as he raced in and made a diving play on Dansby Swanson’s sinking liner for the final out of the inning.
