Ark 2 planned for 2028 release, with 2027 Ark: Survival Ascended expansion introducing and testing out "a lot" of the sequel's mechanics and features

Studio Wildcard has revealed that it's planning on releasing Ark 2, the full-fledged sequel to the original Ark: Survival Evolved, in 2028.
