Veteran defensive lineman Ndamdukong Suh, who won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, is retiring after playing 13 seasons in the NFL.

To announce his retirement, Suh shared a heartfelt message on social media, paying tribute to his late father, who he lost exactly one year ago today. It was his dad who told Suh to “let football go” before he passed, telling Ndamukong, “You’ve done everything you set out to do.”

Ndamukong Suh officially retired from the NFL Saturday, honoring a final wish from his father and closing a football chapter with a Super Bowl ring and five Pro Bowls.
