The 2025 draft marked chief baseball officer Craig Breslow’s second at the helm, and his first overseeing the full 12-month scouting cycle. The Sox spent eight of their first 10 picks on pitchers this year, and across Breslow’s two drafts, have used 29 of their 41 total selections on pitchers.

UPDATE, 11:45 AM: With the 118th overall pick, the Red Sox select Mason White in the fourth round. White is a shortstop out of the University of Arizona who struggles with strikeouts but is bursting with tools, making him a high-upside guy if he can figure out his swing-and-miss issues.
