A Russian drone barrage targeted the center of Kharkiv on Friday, injuring nine people and damaging a maternity hospital in Ukraine's second-largest city, officials said.

The drones hit the medical facility in the city of Kharkiv, sending patients scrambling to protect their newborn babies.

At least one person was killed and 71 wounded in Russian drone attacks on the northeast Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, officials said on Monday, and President Volodymyr Zelenskiy called for more support from Kyiv's allies.
