The Panthers suddenly have a big opening in the wide receiver room.

The Florida Panthers are bringing back restricted free agent defenseman Mikulas Hovorka, signing the Czech defender to a one-year, two-way contract. The 6-foot-6 right-handed shooting defenseman was undrafted and signed with the Panthers in 2024.

They announced that they have signed defensive tackle Kyon Barrs, defensive tackle Elijah Garcia, and cornerback DeCarlos Nicholson to their 90-man roster. Offensive tackle Derrell Bailey, linebacker Jared Bartlett, and cornerback Mike Reid were waived in corresponding moves.
