State and local officials are responding after a reported gas line explosion in Overton County.

A natural gas line explosion Wednesday has prompted local and state emergency crews to respond in Overton County.

TEMA is assisting Overton County after a natural gas line explosion prompted a precautionary evacuation order. The gas line has been shut off, and the evacuation order has since been lifted.

Dallas Fire-Rescue said one person is in critical condition and another was injured when a gas line exploded outside an apartment building on Turtle Creek Blvd.
