MIAMI (AP) — Casemiro grasped his new pink and black jersey while standing on the pitch at Inter Miami's Nu Stadium. Drums banged, flags swirled in the air and a group of supporters cheered, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Brazilian midfielder.

Casemiro hailed Lionel Messi as "the God of Football" after completing his move to Inter Miami, where he is set to play alongside Messi.

Casemiro says his primary reason for joining Inter Miami was to play alongside the "God of football" Lionel Messi, who he regards as the greatest player of all time.
