Eastpoint Mall, a Dundalk shopping destination for nearly seven decades, will close Aug. 31, according to employees who said the mall’s remaining store owners were notified of the shutdown this week.

Businesses are scurrying to liquidate and customers are concerned over what shopping options will be left in Dundalk when the Eastpoint Mall closes later this year.
