Robert Beatty stars as Detective Inspector Mike Maguire, a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman posted to New Scotland Yard, in this 1950s series depicting London's fight against crime.

A crime family attempts to take over rival gangs in London by force. In the process one of Mike Maguire's police colleagues is shot. Mike then sets himself as bait to 'trap' the criminals.
