NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center on Saturday expanded a Level 2 out of 5 severe weather risk area to cover a large part of northeast Alabama, including places such as Huntsville, Gadsden, Fort Payne, Cullman and the northeastern suburbs of Birmingham.
