According to police, the couple was killed after returning home and encountering a burglary suspect, who is believed to have entered through an unlocked door.

An American Idol music supervisor and husband were both found dead in their Los Angeles home Monday afternoon.

Police were first alerted by a resident who hadn't heard from Kaye and Deluca for several days, and found the bodies on Monday.
