Houston police said a person was shot during a robbery at The Gael Apartments just off Westheimer Road near the West Loop. HOUSTON — Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed in west Houston on Thursday. It happened at The Gael Apartments off Essex Lane, which is just south of Westheimer Road and just inside the West Loop.
