A Pineapple Express storm could deliver one of Southern California’s stormiest Christmases in recent memory. The storm is expected to deliver 4 to 8 inches of rain between Tuesday and Saturday throughout most of Los Angeles County, Orange County and the Inland Empire.
Ventura and Los Angeles counties are expected to see some of the highest rainfall totals. In all, coastal and valley areas could receive around 4 to 6 inches of rainfall over the five days. Foothills and mountains could see up to 12 inches.
