Bill Belichick recently concluded his first season as the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels. Belichick made the move to college football after a legendary NFL career, most notably as the head coach of the New England Patriots during the Tom Brady era.
Belichick, the former New England Patriots head coach, is hoping Petrino can help turn around the UNC offense that finished last season as one of the worst units statistically in the country, averaging 288.8 yards per game, ranking 131st out of 136 teams in total offense. The Tar Heels also finished 121st in scoring offense (19.3 points per game).
