The exit of Avelo Airlines from Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County in August brings with it gaps in markets that Santa Rosa airport officials are working to fill. Outreach is underway to Alaska Airlines about picking up the Boise and Palm Springs flights, and to Delta Air Lines about flights to Salt Lake City, according to Airport Manager Jon Stout.

Avelo Airlines on Thursday announced its Western U.S. schedule through April 29, which includes three seasonal markets the airline serves from its base at Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport. Those seasonal markets are Palm Springs, Kalispell, Montana, and Redmond/Bend, Oregon.
