Land Rover has issued a recall for thousands of Range Rover Evoque compact crossover SUVs due to a defect that could cause the passenger airbags to tear during deployment, potentially compromising safety.

Jaguar has recalled nearly 21,000 Range Rover SUVs because the air bag may tear, allowing hot gases to escape, possibly burning someone.
