Owners of the NFL's Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs have joined the list of professional sports organizations making donations to support the recovery from flooding that has devastated the Texas Hill Country,

Vikings Praised After $500,00 Donation to Texas Flood Relief originally appeared on Athlon Sports. It may not be a matter in their own backyard, but the Minnesota Vikings couldn't sit back and watch the suffering from afar.

The Houston Texans were the first to announce their donations on Saturday, July 5, with more coming throughout the week. The Dallas Cowboys and the NFL Foundation joined the Texans on Sunday, July 6, with each contributing $500,000 in a $1.5 million total donation.
